In response to European and French regulations (Decree No 2022-748 of 29 April 2022), it is now essential to inform consumers about the characteristics, quality and environmental impact of consumer goods and their components.
In this context, CTC has developed an innovative method to assess the bio-based carbon content of the materials used to manufacture products such as footwear, leather goods, clothing and gloves. Our approach guarantees reliable data on the proportion of bio-based materials present in your products, whether they are made from leather, textiles, plastics, or innovative materials derived from plant waste.
In a context where consumers and brands are paying more and more attention to environmental issues, CTC offers two certifications that attest to the safety of your finished products:
These certifications guarantee that the leather tested does not contain chromium and/or metals, in accordance with standard NF EN 15987:2025, and that your leather footwear is therefore more environmentally friendly.
In this way, you can reassure your clients and consumers that they are buying footwear that complies with strict standards.
The "CTC laboratory approved" label is CTC’s seal of approval, recognising the reliability of factory laboratories. This label is a confidence tool to validate the quality of production processes.
