In January 1996, CTC decided to internationalise its services to better serve companies wishing to relocate their manufacturing to Asia. This bold move was intended to guarantee the excellence of footwear, leather goods, gloves and personal protective equipment (PPE) manufactured outside France, as well as to develop our testing, inspection and certification activities on a larger scale.
The Asian market for physical, chemical and certification testing is flourishing today, and CTC is present at every stage of the value chain.
We assess, test, control, certify, audit and standardise products in the main areas of design, production, distribution and consumption. Our expertise guarantees you reliable results in compliance with the most stringent standards.
Our laboratories in Asia, including CTC Asia in Hong Kong, CTC Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City and CTC Shanghai and Dongguan in mainland China, are equipped with the most advanced technology.

2023
Expansion of our Ho Chi Minh City site, increasing our physical testing capacity for footwear by 50%.
Our laboratory in Dongguan, China, was also expanded to optimise our services and meet the growing demand from our French and international clients.
2010
Opening of CTC Dongguan to establish a testing laboratory in a strategic area for the testing of footwear and leather goods and the certification of safety shoes.
2005
Opening of CTC Shanghai in mainland China, a laboratory specialising in quality control, inspections and audits.
2002
Opening of CTC Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City, a laboratory specialising in quality control for footwear, leather goods and clothing.
1996
Opening of CTC Asia in Hong Kong, a testing laboratory for footwear and leather goods.
In Asia, CTC employs nearly 250 people whose skills are similar to those of CTC France and has a strong presence and recognised reputation in the Asian market.
