Thanks to its expertise in water analysis, CTC can help you detect AOF in your effluents at the regulatory threshold of 2 µg/L. This index analysis enables the quantity of total organic fluorine, including PFAS, to be evaluated.
At CTC, we are committed to providing you with high-quality water analysis services that meet your needs.
The AOF index is a method for measuring the concentration of adsorbable organic fluorine in environmental samples such as soil, groundwater and surface water. This process detects total fluorine compounds that can be adsorbed in a matrix.
Measurement of AOF is mandatory under the Ministerial Decree of 20 June 2023 according to Légifrance regarding the analysis of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances in the water discharges of facilities classified for environmental protection and subject to the authorisation procedure.
Total fluorine measurement is mandatory under REACh.
The AOF content in an effluent must not exceed 2 µg/L.
Our experts have in-depth knowledge of water analysis. Our laboratory, accredited by the French Ministry of the Environment since 1976 and by the French Ministry of Health since 2012, offers a range of high-quality services.
