In a context where consumers are increasingly aware of environmental issues and transparency in production processes is essential, CTC issues two certificates as proof of the quality of your products: "chrome-free leather" and "metal-free leather".
These certificates guarantee that the leather tested is free of metals, in accordance with standard NF EN 15987: 2015 and allows you to promote this advantage to your customers.
The "chrome-free leather" certificate is issued when the chromium content in the leather is less than 1,000 mg/kg, in accordance with standard NF EN 15987:2015.
The "metal-free leather" certificate is issued when the total content of the five tanning metals (aluminium, chromium, iron, titanium and zirconium) is less than 1,000 mg/kg, in accordance with the same standard.
