Our range of innovative tests

Among our facilities, our Living Lab stands out for its innovative approach by offering instrumented tests in real-world conditions. This analysis laboratory checks that a product’s characteristics meet the specifications set out by the manufacturers. Its state-of-the-art equipment enables it to study the real-life use of products by measuring effort and trajectories in use, with tools such as motion-capture cameras, force plates or pressure mats.

For example, our experts can assess the comfort of a shoe during use.

The data collected is then used by our method development teams to create innovative and automated tests.

For example, our walking and running simulator allows us to assess the cushioning of footwear by reproducing real-world conditions.

In addition to the Living Lab, we use advanced design tools such as 3D digitisation, CAD and 3D printing to develop new physical testing methods.
