The metal insert should have no more than 3 corrosion points, none of which should be larger than 2 mm.
The insert is exposed to a sodium chloride solution in accordance with EN ISO 22568-1 §5.5 for seven days.
The number of corrosion zones and the greatest length of each zone are then recorded.
