Objective

This test is used to verifies the force at which the strap breaks. The quality of a shoe's strap fastening is a key factor in its longevity. In fact, it guarantees the shoes' resistance to the repeated stresses that occur during normal walking.
 

 

Principle

The test consists of determining the force required to break the flange. The test is performed on a dynamometer at a speed of 100 mm/min.
The result is the breaking strength expressed in N*.
