Behavior in fire

Objective

This method can be used to assess the flame behavior of gloves.

Principle

A defined flame from a burner is brought into contact with the lower edge of the glove for a defined time, with the glove suspended vertically from the wrist. After the burner flame has stopped, the flame persistence and residual incandescence times are measured.
