Abrasion resistance

Objective

In use, the shoe inner is subjected to the associated movements of the foot. This repeated friction can cause wear, which
this test is used to anticipate.

Principle

The test consists of performing wear cycles on a specimen of the material to be tested against a specific worsted wool
abrasive, under a defined load. The test can be performed dry and/or wet (to reproduce sweat). The result corresponds to the number of cycles taken to obtain deterioration of the material.
