Metatarsal protection (M) - Impact resistance
Objective
This test verifies the impact resistance of toe protectors.
Principle
A C-steel striker with a 90° wedge angle is dropped on the metatarsal protection. This represents an impact of 100 joules. The free height after impact is then measured.
