This test determines the impermeability of the shoe as a whole. The test simulates walking in a wet environment (such as a puddle).
The shoe is attached to an articulated foot and placed in a tub of water. It is then flexed at an angle of 22° and a rate of 60 flexes/minute with water 2 cm above the edge line for 80 minutes.
Water resistance is checked at the end of the test.
