During use, gloves can be subject to tearing constraints. The purpose of the test is to verify the level of performance concerning the tear resistance of the glove.
The test consists in measuring the necessary force to propagate a tear in the specimen to be tested. The material of the layers located in the palm are tested one by one. The tear resistance is taken as the lowest value of the highest peak recorded.
The result corresponds to the tear resistance at N and the level of performance.
