Objective

When used, gloves can be subject to cutting constraints. The purpose of the test is to check the material against the criterion.

Principle

The test consists in performing a cut with a slender blade. The test consists in appraising the amount of pressure/load required to cut through the test glove material with a straight edged blade that moves along a straight path for 20 mm.
The result corresponds to the cutting index and the level of performance.
