Abrasion resistance

Objective

During use, gloves can be subject to abrasion constraints. The objective of the test is to verify the level of performance against the criterion.

Principle

The tests consists in performing wearing cycles of a test sample against an abrasive material in sand paper under a weight until a hole is formed. For multiple layer palm materials each layer is tested separately.
The result is the number of cycles to rub through the material for each of the layers.
The result corresponds to the number of cycles to get a hole and the performance level.
