Glove design and construction

Objective

This check ensures that the glove's design will not penalize the wearer in intended activities and foreseeable conditions of use.

Principle

Multi-layer reusable gloves must be removable without separating the finger layers.
Where the glove construction includes seams, the material and strength of these seams must be such that the overall performance of the glove is not significantly reduced (see applicable specific standards).
If required by the specific applicable standard, the glove should be designed to minimize donning and doffing time.
