Compression resistance (after conditioning 2h at -40°C)

Objective

The purpose of this determination is to check the resistance of luggage to stacking with other luggage (storage, aircraft hold, etc.). The test is primarily relevant for rigid luggage.

Principle

The test consists in compressing the luggage to be evaluated on its various faces according to the forces defined. Any deterioration occurring during the tests will be noted.
