B.D. THE STORY OF LEATHER

Leather is produced by transforming animal skin.

The younger the animal, the better the quality of the skin, for it will have been subject to less damage (scratching, parasites, etc...).

Tanners use chemicals and mechanical processes to produce finished leathers with various appearances and properties.
